Terms of service
Last updated August 3, 2026
These terms govern your use of Keyplar, the digital product delivery service available at keyplar.com and app.keyplar.com (the "Service"). By creating a store or using the Service, you agree to them. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.
1. The Service
Keyplar provides post-checkout delivery for digital products: customer portals, license keys and a license validation API, file downloads, GitHub repository access, link and custom benefits, order and subscription records, and imports from supported payment gateways. Keyplar is not a payment processor and not a merchant of record: payments are processed by the third-party gateway accounts you connect (such as Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, or Polar), under those providers' own terms.
2. Your account and store
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for safeguarding credentials (including API keys issued by the Service), and for all activity under your store. You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
3. Your content and your customers
You retain all rights to the products, files, and content you deliver through Keyplar. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service — storing your files, serving them to your buyers, and processing your orders. You are the controller of your customers' personal data; we process it on your behalf as described in the privacy policy.
You agree not to use the Service to deliver:
- content that is illegal, infringing, or that you lack rights to distribute;
- malware or content designed to harm end users;
- content that violates the acceptable-use terms of your connected payment gateway.
We may suspend stores that violate these rules, and will notify you when we do unless the law prevents it.
4. Gateway connections
Connecting a payment gateway authorizes Keyplar to receive its webhook events, read the order and catalog data needed for delivery, and — where you initiate it — import historical records. Your gateway credentials are encrypted at rest and used only to operate your store. Your relationship with each gateway, including fees, payouts, taxes, and refunds, is governed by that gateway's terms, not ours.
5. Fees and billing
The Service is offered on flat monthly plans as described on the pricing page. Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled, and you can cancel at any time from your billing page, effective at the end of the current billing period. New stores include a 14-day free trial; you will not be charged if you cancel during the trial. See the refund policyfor refund terms. We may change plan pricing with at least 30 days' notice, effective at your next renewal.
6. Plan limits
Plans include storage, bandwidth, and seat allowances as listed on the pricing page. When a limit is reached, the Service degrades safely rather than destructively: new uploads pause, but files already delivered to your customers keep serving. We never delete your content for exceeding a limit.
7. Store closure and data
You may delete your store at any time from your billing page. Deletion cancels your subscription immediately, takes the store offline, and — after a 30-day recovery window during which you can restore it — permanently and irreversibly deletes all store data, including files, orders, and customer records. Exporting anything you need is your responsibility before the window ends.
8. Availability and support
We work to keep the Service available and performant, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Support is provided by email at support@keyplar.com.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Keyplar will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these terms; where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to cure first. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including content rights, liability limits, and data-retention obligations) survive it.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. For material changes, we will notify you by email or in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
